What's Your Bottom Line?
If there was ever a time of uncertainty, it is now! We can watch every channel of cable available and still have no idea what's coming. We can listen to every talk radio with a clear signal. We can surf the internet for all the buzz words that have been thrown our way. This pandemic has come with more questions than answers.
In our weekly Bible study, we have been in the book of Revelation. I have found over the years that many people are afraid when they get into the scriptures about the rapture and tribulation. In fact, some of those people are believers. Facing the reality of the after-life can be a harsh awakening for some, but I've found the key to Revelation.
It's important to understand destruction and damnation is coming for those who have not accepted the Lord. It's even more important that the believers know we are protected as long as we hold on to God. Just like the pandemic, you may not know what will happen, but you know who is with you. You know who has it all under control.
Whether you're listening to the radio or watching the television, stick to the Good News. The enemy wants you to be terrified to even walk out your front door. He loves to see you cowering in the face of uncertainty. That's when he tries to discourage you from your walk with God. He wants to steal your faith. You cannot allow him to have authority over any area in your life. You serve the Almighty God. You have been purchased with the blood of the Anointed One. There is no way you can lose!
The Book of Revelation is the narrative of your Divine Hero taking down the villain once and for all. It's the record of your rescue and celebration of your awaited freedom.
Whatever comes your way from here, focus on your bottom line: YOU WIN! You are more than a conqueror!
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation 1:3 King James Version
He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will grant [the privilege] to eat [the fruit] from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God. Revelation 2:7 Amplified Bible
