Wise Men Still Seek Him
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10 KJV
Last Sunday we had a glorious time in service. The presence of the Lord was so heavy that we could not follow the order of service. We sang and worshiped the Lord with one accord and with one expectation: the glory of the Lord would be in every gathering. We've been through too much to be satisfied with service as usual. Unity needs a continual outpouring of God's Spirit and it begins with prayer.
The fear of the Lord is not about his wrath but his presence. We must learn to reverence God in our prayers first, and then in our walk with him. When we acknowledge God as our savior, healer, and deliverer in our prayers, then we gain his wisdom for our walk. The glory of the Lord does not fill the room to make us better singers, dancers, or preachers, He sends his glory to fortify us for the journey we face. His glory strengthens us in the places where the enemy has attacked us. His glory fills the empty corners of our spirits. When we have an encounter with God, he takes the lollipop out of our mouth, and says, "It's time to grow up! You're big girl now. You're a big boy now"
God allows you to be in his presence so he can turn your tabernacle into his temple. God wants the glory out of your worship service, and he wants the residue to carry you throughout the week. You have to continue in prayer and worship to hold on to that residue. Don't settle for service as usual. Pray and invoke the King of Glory to come in. Wise men still seek him!
Reaching the lost at any cost,
